South African wine-tasting event comes to London this September

Canva.com WineFest South Africa is a brand new event that is launching on 1 September 2019. Details of the wine tasting event It will take place at The Yard, 89 & ½ Worship Street, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 2BF. This consumer wine festival will run in two sessions – from 12.00 to 16.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00. Both sessions will give you the opportunity to taste hundreds of wines brought to you by some of South Africa’s best winemakers, as they travel to London to explain why South Africa is now considered one of the most exciting and dynamic wine-producing nations in the world. South Africa is a leader in sustainable winemaking and protecting the environment for future generations is the core philosophy of the industry. You can find out what producers are doing to protect nature in the vineyards – giving you even more reason to open a bottle. WineFest South Africa WineFest South Africa is designed to be a relaxed and fun event. You can wander around the wine barrels at leisure, chat to the winemakers and taste their wares. There will be handmade burgers and hotdogs served from a camper van, with South African inspired sauces on hand. If you want to pull up a hay bale and enjoy a full glass of wine with your food you can purchase a glass using the event tokens. Why attend the event? This event, sponsored by DHL, is a rare opportunity to really get to know South African wines and talk to the people who get their hands dirty in the vineyards and wineries making the wine. Over sixty wine companies will be at the festival, making it one of the biggest South African wine events outside of the Cape. It’ll give you the chance to discover new favourite wines from the huge variety produced in the beautiful Cape Winelands. You can see a list of all the producers on the event website. Tickets cost £24.58 per person, per session. Each visitor will be able to take home their branded Govino glass at the end of the event.
